The average water depth in the operating sea area of "Haiji No. 2" is about 324 meters, the total height of the jacket is 338.5 meters, and the total weight is 37,000 tons. The capacity limits of the construction site, transportation, installation equipment and ships have caused a series of technical challenges such as foundation settlement, large-scale hoisting, weight and size control, shipping, transportation, and installation.
What is even more serious is that the sea area where "Haiji No. 2" is located has frequent typhoons and huge wind waves and internal wave currents. This requires the jacket to be adapted to the harsh sea conditions that occur once in a century.
