From a certain perspective, modern cities are like reinforced concrete jungles. For "jungle walkers" who pursue spiritual destinations, the concept of housing is definitely not just made of Walls, roofs and windows constitute a place to stay. In addition to allowing the residents to no longer feel homeless, the house is also a place where they can feel at ease physically and mentally. Therefore, Xu Wenhua believes that creating a comfortable place for the residents is far from being a physical appreciation. It starts from the breadth of thinking and returns to one's own gaze to achieve the inner peace and tranquility of the residents.
Therefore, in this project in Taoyuan, Xu Wenhua aims to create a calm poetic space for those who pursue meaning, prefer perception and are good at exploring the meaning of life.
In this plan, the simple and elegant layout tone, the simple and transparent floating screen windows, the wonderful combination of marble and metal items with impressive patterns, and the ancient style painting reflect the leisurely atmosphere. The pleasant pastoral image, the mysterious space where the lying bamboos extend infinitely to all sides, and the plum blossoms on the branches falling on the cabinet as clear as snow, these elements all form the framework of the literati's image, which is thoroughness, understanding, clarity and ease.
There are millions of new Chinese-style designs, but it is rare to boldly incorporate ocher red into the design. Peach blossoms bloom in clusters without owners, lovely deep red and light red. In the Taoyuan plan, Xu Wenhua used a simple and elegant main color, and used part of the ocher wall to complement a bottle of snow-white potted ornaments, making the space interesting and lively, and expressing it in an innovative form. I love the bustling colors, but also the tranquility and sincerity of Zen.
In addition, the elements of the official hat chair and the traditional moon hole are expressed through lines and metal. The details are clean and neat, and they also interpret the simple charm of the new Chinese style. The bedroom space, with the perfect combination of linen and wood, injects new vitality into the traditional Chinese style. In this quiet space, you can enjoy tea, read a book, or meditate quietly. There is no need to cater to anyone, no need to favor anyone, and no need to worry about anyone disturbing you. Spend every minute of this Zen time quietly.
