According to reports, the deep water neutron telescope "Baika-GVD" is placed in the southern part of Lake Baikal, 3.5 kilometers away from the shore, at a water depth of 700 meters to 1,300 meters. The telescope will help detect sources of ultra-high-energy neutrinos, help explore the universe and create neutrino astronomy and astrophysics.
